A fun story here:

This remark is on a San Diego Comic Con 2023 exclusive that was available only to attendees to one of the Marvel Panels. And to ensure I had a seat I joined the room three panels prior and sat through some not so interesting talks. And four hours later it started! And then midway through they started passing out the comics. And then....they stopped.

It turned out they didn't bring enough so probably only half of the audience got one. I was in the unfortunate half. Joe Q and JR JR were great panelists but it really seemed like a letdown. I later also found out some folks went up to complain and Marvel somehow found copies to give to them. I tried the next day at the booth but they just said "sorry no more." Full stop.

Fast forward a few weeks later and in Joe Quesada's very entertaining newsletter "Drawing the Line Somewhere" on substack hee announces a contest for contest ideas, with the winning ideas earning... this SDCC 2023 exclusive comic + a remark!!!!

I was lucky enough to have my idea used and only a month or so after this showed up in the mail!

What a prize! The remark looks so good and in scale, that it could be an alternate head to the one used on the print.
