Description

Along with the Invisible Woman, this was the other Jesse piece I treated myself to on my birthday.

Much like the character herself, this one is small but mighty. Jesse makes great use of the horizontal with his framing and speed lines to bring motion and energy to the piece, and incorporates stamps to add impact to the background.

Thanks again to my buddy, Ken, for snagging this one for me.

Very nice! I don't know if he's over his stamp phase, but Lonergan does a great job of visualizing their use within drawings creating color patterns that add to the viewing experience.

Another small piece that packs a big punch. Lonergan is so good with line work, with innovative page layout, and with his own distinctive style, but his color work takes it to the next level.
