DescriptionFrom the Captain Britain story ‘Rough Justice’ from The Daredevils 7. Story page 6. 1983.I don’t like the word grail, but this is easily in the top 10 pages I’d like to have in my collection. It’s the first mention of Earth 616 - pretty much the beginning of the Marvel multiverse. There’s several articles about it, but this is a great one Marvel did with David Thorpe. https://www.marvel.com/articles/comics/the-origin-story-of-earth-616-as-told-by-its-creator-writer-david-thorpe Oversized at around 15x20. Huge thanks to Alan and Paul. Social/Sharing |

Nice going, André! I used to have a TPB that collected all the Davis Captain Britain work and wish I still had it. These pages never seem to surface, so it's great to not only see this, but to know that you got it into your collection. Congrats, man!

Wow! Congratulations on getting this amazing page. The word grail is entirely justified here! A pre-Excaliber Alan Davis Capt Britain page is certainly a grail of mine. How did you do it...

Slick look of Brit sci-fi of that 80's era! Very significant find and Davis' art from this era isn't seen much in the states at all.

Composition of that bottom panel is tops, and a killer looking Cap - so clearly Alan Davis. Congrats!
