Description

When one of my all time favorite artists finally opened their pencil and ink commission lists, I jumped at the chance. And when that artist is Dave Devries and is willing to do only one recreation of one of their past trading card art pieces, I really had to think about it. But at the end of the day, I had to go with Spidey's first villain, the Chameleon. And what's cool is that this particular rendition also has his brother, Kraven the Hunter, AND Spidey himself in a horrific transformation. Huge thanks to Dave for this beauty.

Chameleon's power to morph into another person shown so succinctly! Devries' recreation of card 75 in b&w looks even more sinister with the wash and dark ink shadow.

Uniquely awesome and equally creepy cool rendition of the Chameleon! Good idea getting your own piece, and even more detail with the black and white art here. Congrats!
