Description

COPS LongArm Production Cel Signed by Peter Chung with Master Background (DIC, 1988). Patrol officer Patrick J. O'Malley dodges a Dump truck in this thrilling hand-painted production cel from the 1983 animated show COPS, signed by the series' character designer Peter Chung and featured on a Master background. COPS saw the adventures of the elite force of police officers under the Central Organization of Police Specialists team, tasked with guarding Empire City against the group of criminals commanded by Brandon "Big Boss" Babel. The multi-layered production cel features a thrilling image of the officer known as Long Arm inside his car next to a dump truck, all measuring an outstanding image size of 12" x 8.25", featured on a Master background from the show, created in gouache on background board. Peter Chung's signature can be seen on the top edge of the top cel. The cel layers have been stapled together and to the Master background. The Master background shows some toned tape on the top edge and light edge wear. Overall, the lot is in Very Good condition with light handling wear.

Looks really cool with the layers giving the illusion of depth within one image. Not easy to find these types of cels.
