DescriptionThis is a 2002 convention sketch of Mr. Crime from "Crime Does Not Pay," drawn by George Tuska, who was a regular contributor to the comic book in the late 1940s and early 1950s. As host of the stories, Mr. Crime predates the EC horror hosts. And, of course, Crime Does Not Pay was one of the comics used as evidence in the Senate Hearings on Juvenile Delinquency that led to the Comics Code. This item is not for sale.Social/Sharing |

A great fiend to both cops and criminals wanting to see the most escalated and violent outcomes in the Crime comics of the day. Definitely takes the ghostly influencer role seriously to cause the most grisly crimes to be committed. Tuska gets every bit of the grotesque look down.
