Description

Denys Cowan and Rick Magyar. This page hangs on my wall, archival matted and framed behind UV protected glass.

Prior to this series, I did not have much exposure to The Question. Somewhere, I saw a cool ad and checked out the 1st issue. The art was great and the ending hooked me in. I had to stick around for issue 2. Got it, read it and it was off the charts. I read it at least a dozen times at release. The main character getting beaten or nearly beaten to death by Shiva. Next, she saves him and sends him to martial arts expert Richard Dragon(now wheelchair bound) for training/mentoring. I loved it!

This is my favorite page of the whole series. I acquired it in a kind of odd way. Years ago, I won an eBay auction for a different page from the same issue. I think one of the pages where Batman appeared. Anyway, it was damaged in shipping. I messaged the seller and he offered to replace it with another page he had. He sent me a picture and it was page 18! I was floored! You can guess my reply.

Thanks to Denys Cowan and Rick Magyar for creating this cherished art and to the eBay seller for parting with it.

Things got a weird way of working out sometimes, don't they?! I can see why it's your fave from the series. Nice overall composition, and you can't help but hear an '80s training montage when looking at it :) Congrats!
