DescriptionNew thing I'm doing with the gray tones. Usually I only do this on commissions but I'm getting a lot of positive motivation from fans to incorporate more of this style in my published works. So this is done on hot press Fabriano watercolor board (11 x 17) using pencils, inks and black water colors for tones. This is Marvel's variant cover for issue 1 of Ultimate Spider-ManSocial/Sharing |

Wow! Great work Tony, love the battle-damaged Spidey, ready for more. The gray tones are awesome as well, bet this looks incredible in-person. Thanks for sharing!
