DescriptionIs it real or an illusion? Is this truly a Mysterio piece outside of Paul P's amazing collection..haha (all jokes aside Paul has an incredible Mysterio gallery).I have been looking for a good example of Mysterio, and had to step outside of the Spidey comics to fund it. This is the splash page from X-Man issue 57. Many thanks to JG. Another step closer to hunting down examples of the OG Sinister 6. Social/Sharing |

Thanks guys. Interesting fact it's a bullet proof one way plexiglass. So technically you shouldn't be able to see his face.

An excellently illustrated rendition of Mysterio and perfectly inked as well. You certainly do have a knack for finding just the right covers and splashes for your villainous art collection, John!

Many thanks Ruben. Just like when I use to collect comics, part of the fun is the KRAVEN EFFECT...or thrill of the hunt. Except with OA being 1 of 1, it is far more satisfying when you find that perfect example of a character and/or artist that you've been looking for.

Miller makes it easy to imagine the face underneath the dome with the expressive pose!

This Paul P made me traverse beyond Spidey titles to secure a Mysterio piece. :)

Thanks and agreed. The whole OG sinister 6 are staple Spidey rogues but Mysterio and Electro are my favorite costume designs

Hard to top as a Mysterio example! Love the that classic villain pose, and the inks are OH so meticulous. Congrats, JN!

It's without question the best Mysterio page I've ever seen, although I'm a bit biased! Wonderful to see it alongside so many classic villain pieces and in such a great collection. Always makes me feel good when a great piece winds up with the right person. Enjoy it John!
