Love McNiven's lines as accentuated by Morales from this time! Great example, Kelsey, congrats!

A gorgeous page with a GREAT bit of Clobberin' going on! Really striking composition that is brought to perfect fruition by Mark's sensational inking. Look at Ben's right leg, and the back of his right hand and the coat... Wow. I love the lighter second tier of panels and how they dovetail into the richly dark third tier when you follow Reed's gaze. (Fantastic last panel, too, with all the detail on the hand and arm with that black background!) The absolute -coolest- thing though (so to speak) is how Ben's right arm breaks out of the panel juuuust a smidge to make that windup feel extra special. Beauty of a page, Kelsey! CONGRATS!
