DescriptionTorpedo 1936Great page 7 of „R.I.P. y amén“. A true Hardboiled by Sánchez Abuli & Jordi Bernet. Won 1986 for Torpedo the Prix Angouleme for best foreign comic book. The page was signed by both artists at the bottom right. This early story (1984) was initially not intended to be published due to the violence against a priest. In the end, the story was used and remains as one of the best stories. Plot: Lucca "Torpedo" Torelli, an Italian immigrant, finds his talent as a heartless contract killer in 1930s New York. Similar to films such as Scarface or Chinatown, this classy crime satire shows the violent culture of organized crime. A Noire with lots of sex, violence and black humor in a dynamic and very unique style pure in black and white. Torpedo was released in 14 countries. Social/Sharing |

Stylish crime noir! The holy water is used to absolve himself of his sin, but Torpedo goes right back into breaking the offering box shows his character.
