Nostalgia rules the day sometimes.

The first comics I read were a handful of issues after this one. And this was one of the early back issues I picked up when I realized that was a thing.

This X-Men Down Under period in the Australian Outback is obviously beloved by many. They were fun crazy stories filled with great ideas and exceptional art by Silvestri/Green.

(1st appearance of Gateway, the Reavers, and when the team moves to the Outback).

And a bit of Dazzler too.

Just a beautiful page! This is the group of X-Men that introduced me to their adventures and Silvestri will always be the quintessential X-Men artist to me.

I missed this! Dude, outstanding X-men OR Silvestri example! Every panel's got something to see. These are getting harder and harder to get, let alone a piece as nice as this. Congrats!
