It was a color copier, Jen.

The hits just keep on coming for Shulkie as Slott continues to strip away everything important to her. After losing her man, her home in Avengers mansion, and the big win from her high-profile case overturned, her boss gives her the even worse news they have to let her go.

Partly, he explains, it�s because a precedent was set that her being an Avenger unduly swayed a jury. But the deciding factor, he informs her, was her attitude. He tells her they do serious work there, which leads to my favorite joke of the issue.

�We do serious work here.�

�I am very serious.�

�Jen, last night you crushed one of our copiers taking pictures of your butt.�

�How do you know that was me? It could�ve been anyone.�

�It was a color copier, Jen.�

Once again, Juan Bobillo is firing on all cylinders with his facial expressions and body language in service of Slott�s script. Love the borderless final panel and how it asks us to pause on this lowpoint for Jen.

I like that he's staring at her butt to get the full picture and probably looking at the photocopy again at the end just to make sure.
