Description

20 x 16 inches (50.8 x 40.64 centimeters). Ink & watercolor on board.

This reminds me a little bit of Scarlett Johansson. It was done in 1990 though & Scarlett Johansson would have been 6 at the time.

No idea if this was ever published.

Haines did some cool work in comics over a short time. I think the first thing I remember by her was her painting over Mike Grell's pencils on the Green Arrow Longbow Hunters series. She also painted a Hellraiser series for Epic. She also painted a Star Trek series for IDW that has been reprinted in "best of" collections. She did a ton of painted trading card art. In 1999 she retired from comics, moved back to Canada, & started illustrating her own children's books & painting murals.

Thanks! It looks like Heritage is selling a few. Glad I got this one, but there are some ither good ones available. The large size was a draw for me on this one.
