DescriptionA fantastic cover by Stuart Immonen, reminiscent (in my eyes) of the dynamic and superbly composed covers that John Byrne would rock my world with in the 80s.A fun POV that reeks of danger, showing us a concerned (but in-control) Scarlet Witch who’s just about to sort everything out. Probably. When Stuart is paired with Wade von Grawbadger on finishes, we’re always in for a show; we’re going to see sumptuous hatching and fluidly smooth inks. But I also love opportunities like this, when we get to see Stuart ink himself and treat us to some slightly looser hatching and a bit of a rougher edge to the piece (as though this cover was a ‘Superman: Secret Identity’-era outtake). Forget ink: Stuart is dipping his pen into awesomesauce here. So thrilled to have scored this! Thank you ALWAYS, Felix! GREAT cover that (for once, nowadays) tells a story and begs the reader to open the book to know more.

Because of my hand fetish, I love covers with hands. But I'm not sure this exactly qualifies. LOL! Love the visual though.

Wow, this is a GREAT one! Firstly, ANY comic art with either skulls, skeletons or skeleton part, immediately shoots up to the top of the charts! But a bunch of radioactive, skeletal hands grabbing and groping the sexy Scarlet Witch? If they don't get hexed beforehand, they're still done for because she's soon gonna have to #metoo those m@therfu@kers! Oh, and I also LOVE the less precisely defined, scratchier lines that I'm not used to seeing here! Congrats, Jason, this was a fabulous pickup for you!

Love it, man! Wanda lookin' gorgeous despite lookin' super frightened! Dig the inks a lot, especially the skeletal hands. Got a "closing in" feel that's creepy in a great way. Also reminded me of the cover to DD #180! Congrats, man, and glad to see a new post - it's been a bit :)

I get there's a lot of white space around the hands for the flame effects in the final colored version, but I really dig all the negative space it creates on the original art. Most of the outlines of Wanda's body are inferred rather than drawn, which makes it feel even more like she's lost in the image here. Congrats!
