Description

A lovely color illustration done by Eric Talbot. Done in pencil, and marker. He has a unique style that is perfect for the turtles! His work is great in black and white but with the addition of color his pieces become much fuller and richer. I really like the background on this piece. The amount of work done there brings this illustration together.

His time on the title involved a lot of the duotone paper, so without it, he meets expectations with a similar look by using more illustration! The color is also a ncie standout move with the different shades of green to simulate that tonal variation.

Somethinga about this one I immediately liked! Great eyes and steely expression...and yep, those hues of green contrasted with the bright red. Great stuff. Congrats!

Awesome illustration of Raphael by Eric Talbot! I love the way his mask is wrinkled and worn, it tells you he's been through a lot but his fierce expression says he's not giving up. Gorgeous colors give the art real depth and solidity. The inking is superb as well. The shadow on his face makes the mask really pop! And the shading on his skn and shell adds dimension. Great commission, congrats!
