DescriptionMy first introduction to Nick Bradshaw was his work on the Army of Darkness comic, so this cover really fit those early expectations. Nick did 2 covers for this fun indy zombie series that came out (2004) soon after walking dead #1 (2003). I remember enjoying the story, but the art inside was not as well done as the covers.Even back then, Nick worked his heart out and could really draw and tell a story with a cover. Posting the #2 as well. So please check it out. Thank you for visiting my gallery! Social/Sharing |

Wow, Nick's style has evolved quite a bit over the past decade. I wouldn't have recognized this cartoony approach. It's really good though!

No zombie gonna take my car
I'm gonna race Nick to the ground
No zombie gonna beat Bradshaw
He's gonna break the Fleed of sound
Ooh, it's a killing machine
It's got everything
Like a driving cover
White wall tires and everything
I love it and I need it
I bleed ink
Yeah, it's a wild zombie thing
Alright, hold tight
In the Highway art

Both covers are great. This one especially with all of the detail.

Wild and wacky, with lots of great, great, energy! It looks like it was just as much fun to draw as it is for us to look at.

So cool to look back at Bradshaw's work from 20 years ago. I love his newer style but I really enjoy this almost animated cartoon style as well. Lots of energy in this cover.

I too loved and followed Nick's art already back then. Fun cover with great sense of movement.

Wow, such early Bradshaw work and in a completely non-Arthur Adams style! Did he study animation early on? This sure makes it seem like he did.

Gotta love how the zombies are getting torn up here! A nice energy for sure, and back then, a more cartoony and less rendered for Nick that's cool to see here. Glad you were able to nab not 1 but 2 covers from the book that introduced you to Nick! Congrats!
