DescriptionAn original sketch of Takaya Noriko by famed character designer Haruhiko Mikimoto. Haruhiko Mikimoto 美樹本 晴彦, Mikimoto Haruhiko, born Haruhiko Satō (佐藤晴彦, Satō Haruhiko). He lent his creative talents on many classic animes such as Super Dimension Fortress Macross TV, Macross Do You Remember Love, Megazone 23, and Gundam 0080. This original drawing of Noriko is by Mikimoto-san and is from the classic Gainax Studios anime Gunbuster, known in Japan as Top o Nerae! (トップをねらえ!, Toppu o Nerae!, Aim for the Top!), it is a Japanese OVA anime series released from 1988 to 1989.Noriko is nicely posed smiling radiantly while wearing her top uniform and headband. This original drawing was drawn on Mikimoto-san's sketch book at Katsucon convention held in Washington DC on February 15,1999. The drawing measures approximately 10 and 1/2 in tall by 8 in wide, however it is not a perfectly square or rectangular. Mikimoto-san drew this on his sketch pad and had an assistant cut the page out of his sketch pad. Social/Sharing |
