Description1-2024...My one art purchase from OAX(!) from Joe at Brit Comics Art. One of my favorite pieces in my collection is a Gibbons piece from Green Lantern with the Silver Age Flash, so this is very cool to have a version of the Golden Age Flash drawn by him as well! It's from a tie-in comic to the seminal Identity Crisis storyline.Did my best with the scan and though it may be hard to see, the blue line work Gibbons did is impressive to study the perspective layout as well as the dialogue spacing. Gibbons is very skilled at the craft bringing even the more gentile side of dometic superhero life! Even what we take granted as mundane gets a realistic take to allow for the human emotion of the situation hit on a deeper level.

Agreed Marcus! I tend to gravitate more towards these type of quiet/contemplative moments in comics.
