Description

The Inkwell Awards promote excellence in the inking of comic books and provides scholarship money to the to the Kubert School. This year, 27 inkers were asked to put their hand to a blue line printout of a (marker?) drawing of Ben Grimm by Walt Simonson, who also signed each of the finished pieces. This one was donated by well known artist Geof Isherwood, who has worked on titles such as Dr. Strange, Swords of the Swashbucklers, Namor, and Suicide Squad.

Unique to Isherwood's style! He had to come strong to make his stand out amongst the others. The hat is the best part with it being so perfect while Ben is trying to tug on the trenchcoat to further disguise himself in public.
