Description

So much respect and admiration for Ramona Fradon, who got to do what she loved and do it so well for so many years. Saw the recent retirement announcement and then also saw a few of her sketches come to auction after that, and managed to win this one for a very fair price.

Ramona created Aqualad, so it's great to have an example from her drawing one of her creations. Also excited to have an inked piece from her as my other two are pencils only.

It has the silver age magical charm with such a kind hearted image. Aqualad just being a kid has a nice good naturted tone to it. Fradon may be the only one to be able to do this with sincerity.
