Description

R.A. Salvatore, known for his Forgotten Realms novels for TSR, also wrote several Demon Wars novels set in his own world of Corona. One of his stories was adapted into this five issue comic book published by CrossGen. Ron Wagner was the main artist, but Butch Guice was working on Ruse for CrossGen and provided this pin-up showing Moira the human and Grave Mungo the dwarf, who are taking on some giants and demons bigger than either of them. Those are some very spiky pauldrons! You could put out an eye.

Crossgen reached out and got these projects because it aligns a lot of the fantasy aspects of their own library of titles and bullpen of artists. Very impressive since they were an upstart publisher in a tough market.
