11x17" DC Comics Sparta artboard features pen and ink original art for cover to Batman #315, published by DC Comics Sept. 1979. Art is by longtime Batman artist Dick Giordano (1932-2010) and features sky high action as Batman takes to the skies of Gotham w/his Bat-Glider to battle Kite-Man. Title logo is pasted stat (w/white correctional fluid removing shadowed cowl accent) as are DC logo, publishing indicia and text/story title blocks. Top margin has inked title, issue number and publication date. Back has DC Comics copyright inkstamp. Left margin has slight trim, but art remains clean and Exc.
