I am thrilled to add this page to my collection for so many reasons! First, everyone knows I love collecting art from comics written by Brian Michael Bendis. Only one of my friends noticed that I didn't have any pages from David Lafuente's collaboration with Bendis on Ultimate Spider-Man, then decided to do something about it. Tha unheralded honor belongs to my esteemed fellow collector Jason Hussa. He sent me this page as a holiday gift, and I will always be reminded of our shared love of Bendis comics when I look at it!
Jason told me that the background characters on this page are David Lafuente's friends and colleagues. The theme of friendship is an important one in this USM story, this page, and the story of how this page ended up in my collection. Thank you for your friendship, Jason!

The sentiment is greater than the artwork! And that's a pretty cool piece by LaFuente with a flirty high school Peter Parker.
