DescriptionWhelp.. this one is a dream come true.. and incredibly lucky. I’ve said before I love Arthur Adams art work.. and the reason I love it goes back to my formative days of reading comics. Art Adams was the first artist I “followed” as much as a ten year old can follow a comic artist in the 80s lol. But between the X-men Annuals .. and the covers to classic X-men I was in love! And to this day I’m still a massive fan. Since I started collecting original art I have been fortunate to have gotten a few pieces of his art. But up until now never a page from the “annuals “ I think Arthur did 4 X-men annuals total. But “the annuals” to me and I’m sure a lot of other X-men collectors was annual 9 (Asgardian Storm) and annual 10 (X-Babies) … now don’t get me wrong a page from 12 or 14 would be treasured too - so if you have one to sell feel free to reach out lol. But the first two are the big ones.. and for me specifically 10 is the one. Because I had a copy when I was young.. and read it to pieces. Heck I’m still waiting for the New mutants to wear there “graduation uniforms” from the book! lol . This book creates the Xbabies which became a thing.. takes us to mojo world and adds Longshot to the team. Lots of key stuff happens for an annual. So the book is burned into my brain. So when I got back from OAX and saw on Caf my friend Scot was offering this one for sale at OAX and didn’t tell me.. I was floored! But thankfully he must not have told many people because it was still available.. Scot gave me a great deal (Thanks again my Friend) and now it is all mine! The climax of the story… Rogue Absorbing Mojos (A Adams creation I may add!) power (how could anyone forget that panel! ) Magneto And Psylocke and a beautiful panel of Colossus! That bristol board has been through a war with Arthur Adams putting a beating on it with the penline like the one Colossus puts on Mojo!

Wow! What a page! I love that last panel with Colossus as well!!! Art Adams doing what Art Adams does best!! Huge congratulations to you for being able to snatch this gem!!

I think I've let you know how much I love this page, From that body horror in panel 1 to Colossus' punch in the final panel, this page rates as Adams and Austin in top form. This is one of those pages that makes you want more and more. Good luck with your new Art Adams addiction.

Arthur's work with Terry on their annuals was always an artistic treat and well worth waiting once a year for. Great page!

UXM Annuals 9 and 10 are definetely SOMETHING different and special! Such a great page! Austin inks are the cherry on top!!! Another X-traordinary mutant page!

HUGE congrats, man. This one's got it all, and from one of the few books I think of first when I think "Art Adams". I gid his stuff today a lot but this classic stuff just has a gravitas you just can't beat. Love it, J!
