DescriptionFold out Valiant Vision poster art.16x20. I had a great Quesada DPS years back I stupidly sold, and have been looking for something since. I have extremely fond memories of his Valiant work, especially all the chromium covers he did. And his best work IMO was around this time when he had heavy Art Nouveau influences. For my tastes this is probably one of the best examples I could get, with my favorite inker of his as well. Also published in the Ninjak Omnibus. Social/Sharing |

Congrats! I was one of several (I'm sure) of under bidders of this. It's gorgeous.

This is inspiring with the energy of the 90's, but slick all the way through! Joe and Jimmy made grim and gritty look so beautifully operatic!

Agreed on this being their peak and especially with the Mucha influence. Just sublime.

Art Nuveau! I was trying to put my finger on what it was about the style that was really grabbing me. What a super sweet design! All that precise fine linework is almost mesmerizing. This pairing put out amazing work, and this is just a peak example. Congrats!

What an incredible page. The Mucha influence is so great here and Quesada makes it work in a comic context. I loved his run on Ninjak, so congrats on this amazing example and thanks for sharing.

Oh man, BIG congrats! I rememeber this image distinctly and it's definitely one of those I think of when I think "Quesada". All the design elements, the pure illustration of the character and bike, adn that intricate inked line work...OH so good.

Yes it is a big piece of OA which I had the pleasure of seeing in person for a few times. It is really Joe Q / Jimmy P magic.
