Description

I have always been a huge fan of the magical characters of both Marvel and DC and the Spectre is a great character. This is a clever cover with Lopez showing the fearsome aspect of the Spectre reflected in the mirror behind the helpless criminal as he is about to receive otherworldly retribution.

Already a masterpiece in design, Garcia-Lopez executes it to perfection to not only technical storytelling, but also to the full on suspense of this! As many have noticed, his signature in the frame design is unique to this cover.

Wow! What a cool Spectre cover by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez! I love this image of the Spectre reflected in a mirror as he confronts a cowardly criminal! Funny that the thug holds up his hand as if that's going to stop the Spectre! Great composition and strong poses by Lopez. His thick black inks on the Spectre really make the art pop! What a fanastic pick-up, congrats!

Lopez pencilled and inked Spectre rivals that of Aparo and even Adams IMHO.
