DescriptionI don’t think I realized how much I liked the 90s What If Series until I started to think about some of the fun stories that they did. I started thinking about this after watching the Disney What If show and thinking they really could have done so much better had they used some of the classics from my childhood. Since that I’ve been actively looking for examples from those stories I loved . And this one is one of them . Wolverine Vs Conan?? How could you not love it! Also pretty happy to have gotten one of the best pages in the book with a full on battle between the two. Now you weren’t getting an all star lineup of artists in what if back then but Gary Kwapisz and Ian Atkin do a very serviceable job on the story. Clean lines and a nice look to the Sword and Sorcery theme… but let’s be realistic here.. this is pure fun and nostalgia!Social/Sharing |

I always liked What IF? It was like a chance for Marvel to try things and if they were well received we would maybe see them further down the line! Great page!

Savage vs savage! Nice top to bottom storytelling and I dig the transition between those last 2 panels most! Congrats!

def a fun issue of What If, do wish they would do some literal adaptations in cartoon form sometimes to your point re: the What If series but i still enjoyed catching up on the latest season recently. Great action, art, sound effects...great page!
