Description

Believing Bernie Wrightson to be the inker, Michael Kaluta chose 20 x 15" sheets of No. 80 Bainbridge Board that he knew Wrightson favoured. Kaluta has said in interviews that he found the paper difficult to draw on and this page has "I HATE THIS PAPER" underlined several times in the margin. The margins of these boards are fascinating with Kaluta's many detailed notes and drawings.

The inker-penciler combination worked well in the end. Thanks for the great write-up.

He probably pencilled it this way too for Wrightson with these historical likenesses that Heath still nailed.
