DescriptionA very faithful recreation of the epic Front Cover of Justice League 102 by its original artist, Nick Cardy! It's now well-established that Nick Cardy came up with some of the most outstanding covers of the DC Silver and Bronze Age, rivalling Neal Adams in the quality of his output! During one of their now-customary crossover events, this JLA issue is, for once, quite right in announcing the death of one of the leaguers... For the benefit of upcoming readers, I'm not going to spoil it, but needless to say that I was grabbed to this issue shen it appeared on the newsstand. The melodramatic qualiy of the scene, with no less than 11 heroes astounded by Superman's speech... How could I resist? Revisiting this moment is, thanks to Nick Cardy, a real treat! Social/Sharing |

Merci Adom ! C'est rare de voir autant de héros sur une seule couverture...

So great! When Cardy did Superman, it was a treat to behold! It was just outside of the estabished look and made you notice. This gets the whole league in there and his takes on them are just as uniquely his.

Thanks Marcus! You're right, Nick Cardy had this special touch. In fact, his work on the covers, including colors, was so unique that, most of the times, the interior story looked bland...
