Description

This is an iconic piece. This is Civil War II's version of the freeze frame from the Captain America Civil War Film - Original Civil War I comic splash. Such a cool double Splash. I'll work on this description at a later date so I can try to include all the characters in the piece. 2016

On this character-packed David Marquez Double Page Splash from Civil War II #5 (2016), Iron Man's team faces off against Captain Marvel's team in one of the biggest ever battles between Marvel heroes. Civil War II was a major event series sequel to the original 2006 Civil War series. Once again the Marvel heroes find themselves divided along ethical lines, which leads to a major blow-out between opposing factions led by Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) and Iron Man. A new Inhuman named Ulysses emerges with the ability to predict the future. This gives the heroes the ability to stop crimes before they take place, but the question becomes whether it is fair to imprison or kill someone for something they haven't actually done yet.

Note: Sean Izaakse is given credit for assisting David Marquez on both pencils and inks. The pages are joined together with white tape on the back.
