For those that don't know, I am a pretty big Nightwing fan, though I only really focus on the 1996 series. I am also a huge McDaniel fan, so when the opportunity to own this presented itself I had to get it. Unlike most of my other purchases, this was not drama-free...

So the cover was supposed to be delivered yesterday according to the USPS tracking information. I worked from home the last part of the day to make sure I could intercept the mailman since the package had signature confirmation. A couple hours after the estimated delivery time I checked online to find out it had already been "delivered, left with individual". That's odd I thought, they didn't even knock. So I open the door to find an empty porch. I walk around the house and no package to be found. I end up going to post office and talk to the supervisor. She pulled up the signature and it was just a little squiggle. After trying to contact the carrier, she took my information and said they would be in contact with me today. So this morning I got the call. The mailman dropped the package off at the correct street address...but the wrong street. He signed the squiggle line and left it on a porch. Luckily he was able to retrieve the package and delivered it to me shortly after with an apology.

For those that assume the person they are delivering the package to is going to sign for it...well that is not always the case.

I am just glad it made it safely. The piece looks fantastic in person and I am glad to add it to my McDaniel Nightwing collection.

Yeah, they seem to cut corners and things get worse when packages are shipped around a holiday. This is a very nice mix of Robin/Nightwing "This is Your Life". We tend to forget that time stays still in comics and he's still young so half his life is still the circus and half is fighting crime.
