Very lucky to have a page from the Elektra Assassin 1987 series.

"Sienkiewicz's ground breaking mixed-media and avant-garde approach to art was perfect for Frank Miller's hard boiled writing in this series"

I feel Bill's art style really took Comic Art to a whole new level. Truly a visionary.

This page has many checkmarks for me:

1) Frank Miller story
2) Bill Sienkiewicz art

4) Elektra in action in every panel

I love how Bill only painted color for Elektra and the blood from her kill.

Being a long time collector of older traditional art pages, I am becoming a bigger fan of painted pages. You get the artist's pencils and then his/her paint over the pencils.
A real two-for-one...

Sienkiewicz'x layout and design elements are outrageous. Combine this with his unique design and paint skills demonstrates why his art transcends nearly 5 decades. Congrats!
