Description

2017 San Diego Comic Con Sketch Book Cover Exclusive No. 049. Gerhard of Cerebus fame pencil sketched this beauty and Bob Almond (born January 4, 1967) who is an American comic book inker whose credits include the Marvel Comics publications Warlock and the Infinity Watch, Black Panther and Annihilation: Conquest: Quasar. Almond is also known for his spearheading of the Inkwell Awards to honor comics inkers.

This cover depicts an epic battle between Cockroach who first appears on the cover of Cerebus the Aardvark #11 1979 by writer and artist Dave Sim, and the Nigh Invulnerable The Tick, who first appeared on New England Comics Newsletter #14 in 1986 created by Ben Edlund.
