Description

I remember when Groo first came out in Spain in 1982... It was called Groonan in Spanish, using that name to make it similar to Conan, and I loved how hilarious it was reading it when I was just 7 years old! Sergio Aragones is such a treasure in the industry, such a nice and friendly guy. So when I saw that 4C Comics was having a sketch show (alongside Stan Sakai and Scott Shaw), I knew it was my chance to get a sketch (ok, I got greedy and got 2). So here was my second request, I knew it was time to get Groo and Chakaal together! But Sergio went above and beyond with this request, and he added the bad guy as well as Rufferto in the piece as well! The face of Groo looking at Chakaal is priceless, and so is Rufferto's upset growling face! Just another incredible piece by Sergio!

It's incredible, Sergio's consistency - his work today is as crisp and clear as ever. Great piece with tons of character. Congrats Alberto!
