Double Splash Pages are.. awesome! I love this piece so much! I think it was Neil Gaiman that said something about splash pages once.. basically if all he has is 24 pages to tell a story there has to be something monumental to have a Splash Page dedicating that much space to one image to move the story. So, a DOUBLE SPLASH is awesome!

I'd have to take some time (and I will in the future) to try to identify everyone in this image. Here's the ComicLink description from when I bought it.
"The Squadron Supreme tries to arrest Reed Richards, but Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Ultimates defend the FF".

Ultimate versions of.. I guess we have Spider-Man, Thor, The Thing, Ant Man, Obviously Captain America's shield - and we assume he is behind it - with Ant Man on it. On the other side Wolverine's Claws and Wasp and.. well I'll try later to get them all identified. Great spread, though!

Just stunning when Greg Land goes into the hyper realism mode! It is made even more evident and grandiose with the DPS presentation. Those Ryan inks are great too adding that powdery shading that sets the Land art apart from all others.
