Description

I've said it before on other Arthur Adams & John Bolton descriptions, but those two, and Cockrum and Byrne, are the reasons I fell in love with comics. Classic X-Men was my first exposure, and if I had not happened upon those comics I don't know how different a person I might be. It led to my lifelong love of comics and to me becoming a voracious reader, and that kid with a paperback, or stack of comics, everywhere he went.

I cherish any Arthur Adams art I am able to buy and afford, they are extra special when they come directly from Arthur himself. I was lucky enough to pick this up at last year's Baltimore Comic Con.

Arthur's version of most characters he touches become the definitive version for me. Punk Storm is probably a tie between AA's version and Smith's in my opinion. So happy to have such a beautiful example in my collection.

So hot! Adams knows where to pull back on the details to let the beauty of a single graceful line shine in the 80's styled pin up aesthetic! The extra braid and the black leather texture is where he doubles up in detail!
