The Amazing Mr. X - Cover Painting (1994)

Hugo Award winning artist Vincent Di Fate is well-known for his amazing science fiction illustrations and paintings, having been first published in the field in an August 1969 issue of Analog Science Fiction/Science Fact magazine.

This marvelous cover work was for the 1994 Laserdisc re-release of Bernard Vorhaus' 1948 romantic Noir classic film.

Oils on 18.25" x 18.25" illustration board with an image area of 16" x 16". Includes overlay on vellum indicating typesetting layout and color guides.

Excellent condition.
