DescriptionFrom Heritage:Mike Dringenberg and Malcolm Jones III Sandman #11 Story Page 7 Original Art (DC, 1989). Rose writes a letter back home only to be interrupted by Hal Carter, her fabulous landlord and local drag queen. Rose's nearly-barren new room features a poster for The Cure, in a page that highlights the queer and goth elements characteristic of Neil Gaiman's groundbreaking Sandman. Created in ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 8.75" x 14". The figure in Panel Six, Panel Seven, Panel Eight, and almost all text are paste-ups. Adhesive staining, production marks and notes, whiteout, toning, and handling wear. In Very Good condition. Social/Sharing |
