Description

One of series of strips entitled "Gline or Extraterrestrial Occurrences Usually of a Political Moral and Social Nature" published in issue 3 of Vaughn Bode's Junkwaffel. The language featured in the strips is entirely made up, but Bode's storytelling and distinctive style shine through on this page.

The art is signed and dated Dec. 4, 1967 - nearly 5 years before its publication - suggesting it may initially have been intended for some other venue?

The lizard alien is very Vaughn Bode! Imaginative science fiction with a heart. A short romance tale between species that could be an allegory of the free love era from when it was created.
