Description

As a Mal fan, I am very happy to add this page-another one of his finest hours- to my collection.

Following up Mal’s assumption of the Guardian identity to defeat Dr. Light in issue 44, he is nearly killed in a bombing by the Wreckers. He defeats Azrael, the Angel of Death, to continue living. However Azrael tells him that if he loses a fight he dies. Gabriel gives him a horn with this instruction:

“When the odds are against you —and only then—blow it . . . And you will be the equal of your opponents—as you were with Azrael!”

Mal uses the horn to summon and to revive the Titans to battle the Wreckers. He personally defeats the Wrecker leader.

Now if I could just find the final page of issue 45, where Speedy invites Mal to join DC Comics greatest band, Great Frog. . .

Hot! During the short lived revival of the title with the new stories expanding the Titans membership with far out characters and fashions in relevent stories!
