Hilarious Bloom County Sunday strip by Berkley Breathed! This is one of the most meta strip I can recall! I love the way Berkley plays with the comic strip medium here, elaborately documenting various comic strip symbols and giving them silly names like Poofles and Zipples and Sweatles. It has all the earmarks of an academic consideration of the meaning behind various comic book symbols, but then makes fun of the seriousness! What a terrific example of Berkley Breathed's briliant sense of humor in his glorious comic strip, Bloom County! Amazing pick-up, congrats!
