DescriptionI can’t get enough Eranga! His art or in real life! He’s just so talented and a great dude. Even though I call him friend I still have to get in the trenches to get his art.. so I saw this pop up on his social media and immediately texted him ! He had this fun idea to follow the lead on abandoned cover layouts he found online.. for this one he found what was labeled , X-men 217 layout by Walt Simonson, we later found out it was actually a layout by Art Adams for 218 … (you can see in the additional images the scan he saw not a lot to go on lol) anywho.. I didn’t care , this is a redone cover from my favorite era of the team battling my favorite villian .. that old Juggernaut . E killed it - Juggs is awesome but so is the rest of the gang… and everything is art logo … cornerbox all of it! Thank you for letting me get this one.Social/Sharing |

It's true, it's true
Beatdown has made it clear
The artist must see layouts all the year
The art was made a distant moon ago here
To find Art Adams Longshot be too hot
And there's a legal limit to the Rogue here
For Juggernaut
Eranga will imagine into cover
For X-Men art the linework and Psylocke
By order, Summers lingers through to Dazzler

Love the history and so great seeing this abandoned cover come to dazzling light, great job Eranga. And for posting this I gotta say great minds think alike. Cheers!

Puny X-Men have no chance! Great work by E! Consider adding an additional image of the original, so we can see the Re- part of Re-imagining. Congrats!

Great job by Eranga on this. Looks like Longshot has the right idea, although I don't think he's going to have much luck getting that thing off.
