I purchased this three minute sketch from the Hero Initiative at the 2009 Baltimore Con. It's amazing the art that Tim did in three minutes.

I love the crooked teeth. Hulk has no patience for orthodonists. They make him angry.

If you look at the photo of Tim, you'll see next to the Hulk a Golden Age Sandman in a sketchbook. I was fortunate to get on his list, which was for 15 minutes sketches of characters he was comfortable doing within that amount of time such as Batman. He would pace himself with a timer.

I knew Sandman was unlikely to be among those characters but decided to roll the dice. He paused for a moment and then kindly agreed to do it. What he was able to do in those 15 minutes is impressive. The art is in my JSA sketchbook gallery.

I like that he's got a roided out mouth! His teeth do not grow in proportion with his muscles!

Tim definitely had his unique way to draw characters and make them his own. Thanks for sharing these quick but amazing drawings.
