I got this little gem on eBay back when you could still find little gems on eBay.

I already had the full page from Misty and then I saw this. I have no idea what it was done for or why. It shows Misty being attacked by a horned monster. The piece is small, and done on a 4.75 x 6.6" piece of textured watercolor paper. Curiously, it is cut off-kilter (i.e., not a perfect rectangle) and looks to have been taped to something; maybe a mat?

Still, a little gem signed by McQuade in the lower right.

Nice!!! Very little of his work is out there. YEars ago I tried to track him down but he had no internet presence. Congrats!!!

Looks like it was cut out from a mat and trimmed as the tape could not have been removed without damage. Very nice color example. It makes you want to go back to the page and imagine how it would have been colored by McQuade.
