Description

No clue why this series didn't work better. Cornell is a terrific writer (check out his prose series Witches of Lychford and Shadow Police - both are great). Kirk did a great job on the art. It was a really interesting mix of characters who should have performed better.

This dynamic splash was part of Secret Invasion (which crossed over very early in the book and may have been part of the problem). Cornell did a lot with Brian Braddock and this was his return to form in the first arc.

Kirk put a small twist on the skrulls who took on a lot of shapes, including this Skrull Supreme character.

Won this in a ComicLink auction in early 2024.

That was such a GREAT series that I too lamented it was so short. Kirk did an amazing job on it. Congrats on a fun splash.

Agreed, this series was cut all too short. Was a banger from the start. In any case, way to make a splash with this splash. Congrats!
