Description

Original artwork for Saga of the Original Human Torch #2 page 25 (Marvel, 1990), by Rich Buckler (pencils) and Danny Bulanadi (inks). This gorgeous piece prominently features the Golden-Age Human Torch and his sidekick Toro. The pensive Torch reflects back upon orders to capture Adolf Hitler as he and Toro patrol the night skies just as three German Luftwaffe fighter planes bear down to engage the two flaming heroes in ariel combat. The deep black background really makes the images stand out on this page.
