DescriptionJosh's art has caught my eye in recent years. Had the chance to meet him in person at Wondercon this year, and just an overall nice artist. Set up a commission for pick up at Ontario Comic Con Revolution this weekend.Asked Josh to homage one of my favorite David Finch covers from Messiah Complex, but with Madelyne over a defeated Xmen team from the inferno era (rather than lady deathstrike). It was a great experience working with Josh. Great communication throughout the process and he threw in some extra characters. Josh and his wife were a pleasure to talk art and comics with. Even though the OG Phoenix did my boy Sinister dirty in episode 10....his legacy lives on

I like this one far more than the one it homages!

Josh definitely impressed me with his take. I love both. Talking to Josh, Finch is one of his favorite artists and I think he did the homage justice.

Such an amazing & beutiful cover recreation! And it's kind of funny ... I was looking at the strewn bodies at the bottom first, and I was thinking "Hey, where is Wolverine's head?" Then I looked up, and there it was in Madelyn's hand!!

Haha, yes Josh gave options for lay outs, so when I saw the Wolverine decapitation my magic... had to go with it

Josh was very involved throughout the process, welcoming input but also provided different options. The Wolverine part was hos idea and I thought it was cool..how do you decapitate Adamantium? By magic.

Thanks George, glad to finally have a Cassara piece in the PC. Your xforce and Wolvie pieces are great. One of the nicest, pleasant, down to earth artists I've met. So refreshing, love to support that.

Extraordinary result! I looks so nice and cool to be part of the creation process. I love the tone that Joshua has given to this recreation.

Thanks Toni. Definitely one of my favorite things about commissions...throwing out an idea and seeing how the artist renders it. Josh was great with communication. I'll have to upload the different layouts he presented

If this wasn't published, it deserves to be. The more I see Cassara's work, the more I enjoy it.

Thanks Matt. Maybe for an Xmen Inferno anniversary edition, haha (minus decapitated Logan). Agreed...been following Josh's work on Xforce and Xmen and it has been growing on me.

Thanks James. Definitely enjoyed his take with combining two iconic xmen arcs of Messiah complex and inferno

I loved both of those story arcs, I feel like Messiah Complex didn't get as much love as it deserves.

Agreed...the whole Messiah Trilogy was great imo. Loved all the different factions in Messiah Complex hunting Hope though

Oh yeah, I know the cover, and Josh did it absolute justice here! Got that devilishly gorgeous GQ in the front with the devilishly grinning Essex in the back! Nice lighting effect on the former, and overall grey tones kill, as per usual with Josh. Congrats, man!
