Description

Belle by Bill Sienkiewicz in my Belle themed Sketchbook. Jason Palmer had my sketchbook and dropped off the sketchbook the week before the Lake Como Comic Art Festival.
Some friends messaged me that Bill had posted a work in progress photo, but I wanted to see the art for the first time in person. Bill had a constant line at the festival, but I waved to his rep to check in, and Bill politely asked the person at the front of the line to let him get my sketchbook. Bill explained he wanted to combine the animated Disney Belle with the French La Belle et la Bęte by Jean Cocteau’s sublime Beast.

I think you are going to have to cut this one out of the book, cause It really is wall worthy and needs to see the light of day every day. Beautiful piece, wish I could have seen it in person. Congrats.
