Description

8.25x11.75" heavy paper stock has printed black line art with hand painted watercolors of the Human Torch crouched and bursting into flames. Great looking original specialty art w/a defensive stance. By prolific and renowned Spanish Comics cover artist Rafael López Espí, signed at lower right and w/artist studio sticker on reverse. Loved this piece of Johnny Storm engulfed in flames instead of the usual full on fire or just as a guy.

Very unique piece for his colors! This is going by how Espi would make covers for b&w reprints and color them without knowing how they looked and he's have to imagine them.
